Chennai school for developmentally disabled children (RASA)
Run by Dr. Ambika Kameshwar, a professional Bharatnatyam dancer and Karnatik
vocalist, RASA is a special education school that reaches out to developmentally
disabled children in Chennai through dance, music, and art. Dr. Ambika's techniques,
termed "Creative Movement Education," have brought joy and purpose to scores
of children in-house, and to about 500 children throughout the city of Chennai,
spread about in various other societies such as the Spastic Society of India.
CVI is helping the RASA school by contributing to their program expenses.
